So, we have a project name and now we have a logo!
The image provides the focus of the project, the church, and also puts it in an undeveloped landscape, on top of a hill. The fact that the church is on a high point in the village exemplifies the accessibility problem and that part of the project is to provide an easier route into the church building. Equally, a pathway can be conceptual and identifies our route back into the past – to find Ethelburga.
By the way – the image of the church was taken directly from a photograph and clearly shows the mix of old and new throughout the centuries, which is only right given that most buildings do not stay in their original form but develop through the years. Another part of the project is to find out more about the development of the church building.
