Readers of our blog already know that we have been applying for many grants over recent weeks and months and we are getting close to the amount of match-funding we need for the Lottery Fund to approve our project to start. But we haven’t reached this target yet and that is why we are reaching out to everyone who is following our project.
To supplement the money we raise from grants, we have now launched a crowd-funding campaign at Go Fund Me. After just a week, we are already more than a third of the way to our donation target of £10,000. That is really encouraging, but there is more to do. If we can’t reach this target, the project can’t start, so right now we are at a very critical stage. We need your help now.
You can give to the project by clicking here. Please help us too by sharing the link with your friends and family on Facebook and Twitter, or simply by forwarding the link by email. Every little helps, and if you are a UK taxpayer, don’t forget to tick the box for Gift Aid, as this will increase the value of your gift by 25% courtesy of HM Treasury.
Thank you in advance for all your support. I look forward to being able to confirm that the project has been given the green light to start, and I am sure that with your help we can get there.
