Many thanks to the residents of Etchinghill who turned out on a dismal November morning to here a talk in the village hall on “Ethelburga’s legacy: the exceptional discoveries in the churchyard at Lyminge during the summer of 2019”. So many people came along it was necessary to put out extra chairs; it was great to see so much continuing interest in the project. With book sales of Diary of a Dig, we collected over £100 towards project funds, so many thanks to everyone who attended for that.
There will be further public talks on the dig in the New Year. Details will be posted through this blog.
